Welcome to Accel Tech! I first learned to use computers so I could play games like Descent and Caveman Olympics. My grandparents brought home an old Packard Bell Legend, and I taught myself DOS. The first command I learned was tree. When I went to school I was routinely banned from the computer systems because I had a way of figuring out passwords and getting online without supervision. In high school I took every computer and electronics course I could and even became the student campus network administrator.

 

After graduation, I went into the army doing telecommunications, and on returning to the US, attended college for network security and computer programming.

 

I love what I do because what seems so complex to others comes easily to me, allowing me to solve issues and make things work better. Even outside of work, I am a nerd at heart. I love fantasy books and movies. I play video games. I try out new restaurants. And I continue to play with servers to try to create my own services to improve people's lives.
